Northern Illinois University Baseball team has implemented Vizual Edge Training to their training regimen.
"I'm a huge proponent of Vizual Edge. It gives our staff and players deeper insights into how their visual system impacts their performance," NIU Baseball Assistant Coach Luke Stewart said. "After reviewing the evaluation results from each player on our team, it gives me and the rest of the coaching staff a deeper understanding of why some players struggle in certain areas. When I compared our quality at-bat percentage to the Vizual Edge scores, they lined up. Our better hitters naturally have better visual skills. We are very excited to start training our entire team and improving their visual skills."
NIU players will use Vizual Edge training 3-5 times per week throughout the course of the fall, winter, and spring seasons. Each training session takes 10-15 minutes to complete.
Vizual Edge training is designed to help players improve their core six visual skills using their online training platform, The Edge Trainer. Every player's training program is completely customized to their needs and can be easily implemented throughout any college program.
